Bigger lots, bigger trees
Sunshine Acres has only about 250 homes spread across roughly a square mile, so many lots are larger than in the newer subdivisions around it. More room means more trees: live oaks, mahoganies, royal and sabal palms, and fruit trees like mango and avocado that have been growing for decades. Those trees add shade and value, but they also get heavy, crowd the roof and drop limbs when a storm rolls through.

Dead, diseased, leaning or storm-damaged trees are taken down safely, in sections where there’s a house or structure underneath, and the stump is ground below grade.
